On September 10th, 2017, ESFD firefighters participated in the annual 9/11 memorial stairclimb in Clayton, MO. During these stairclimbs firefighters don their full gear and then climb the equivalent of the 110 floors of the World Trade Center T View fullsize
On September 11 2016, ESFD participated in the 9/11 Memorial Stairclimb held annually in Clayton, MO. This year the department raised over $1.5k for the event, with the proceeds going to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.  View fullsize

On September 11 2016, ESFD members participated in the Belleville Fire Department's dedication ceremony for their new 9/11 Memorial. The memorial features a large peice of steel recovered from Ground Zero of the World Trade Center Towers. View fullsize
